Welcome! I’m a singer-songwriter, and an author of short stories and poetry.
Like my award-winning short stories, my songs are often about the characters that come alive in my imagination. My work ranges from the personal to the mystical to the just plain fun. Come along on a journey of song that will be sure to make you smile. I’m a retired psychology professor who has taught subjects including the psychology of music and a class on the nature of creativity. Listen for the psychological insights sprinkled throughout my material.
If you book me for a festival, be sure to schedule a music workshop in addition to my concert. I’ll teach the participants several of my songs, and then invite them to come up on stage with me and become part of my performance. We’ll have a great time.
